about

The second track is Misogyny, confronts the suppression of the divine feminine. A haunting video and musical piece of cave footage that evokes phallic symbology.

Here the cave, mirroring the female genitals produces the phallic looking stalagmites, inverting our current political and social times in which masculinity rules over femininity.

Misogyny was produced as a sound design piece echoing the sensation of being supppressed, oppressed or hunted. A feeling many women know from hyper-masculinity and predatory objectification of their bodies and sexuality. Referencing also the “caveman” slur of those who are immature, unevolved and/or primitive.
